Sales Operation Analyst

Opportunity

SessionM is currently looking for a dynamic and energetic individual as a Sales Operations Analyst focusing on data analysis and reporting for the global sales organization. This position is located in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed and accurate reporting to the Sales management team including reporting and analysis on Sales KPIs.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, quality, accuracy and timeliness of standard reporting.
  • Deliver and maintain incentive calculations and statements for sales organization. 
  • Perform complex ad hoc analysis as required in support of Sales Organization.
  • Help drive initiatives to gather and report sales metrics.
  • Partner with Sales Management to identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve sales team efficiency, and scale the SessionM business effectively.
  • Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems/ processes to fix root causes
  • Develop and build relationships with internal and external customers to resolve problems.

Requirements 

  • 4+ years in sales analytics, operations, and/or sales finance, preferably in the SaaS Industry.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and to serve the diverse needs of the global sales operations team.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results and adapt to changing business requirements; ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to independently analyze, reconcile and prepare reports and presentations for sales management.
  • Understanding of CRM Data integrity of Accounts, Opportunities, Contacts, Territory etc.
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce.com and the ability to navigate object models and advanced reporting. Admin skills a plus.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including advanced functions in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Ability to automate tasks in Excel using VBA macros a plus. Microsoft Access experience a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are imperative.
  • Proficient in understanding SaaS sales and financial reporting. 
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance or equivalent experience.  MBA is a plus.
