Opportunity

Come help us create a next generation customer loyalty platform used by the world’s most innovative brands. SessionM is seeking an entry-level Product Manager who can grow to be a results-oriented leader driving new features for the SessionM Loyalty, Offers, and Incentives modules. We are seeking candidates with a great instinct for developing compelling products.  This position is an exciting opportunity to innovate and create new feature functionality for the company’s loyalty platform.  As a PM on the team, you would have plenty of opportunity to grow and lead, while at the same time influencing our business, our clients, and end users.

Responsibilities

  • Manage roadmap and prioritize user stories for features within the SessionM Incentives and Offers domains based on the company's overall strategy, the competitive marketplace, and consumer needs. 
  • Write detailed requirement documents and work with designers to develop flows, wireframes, and mockups at start of the product development process.
  • Engage closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods, as well as a reasonable execution schedule.
  • Coordinate product launches with all internal stakeholders.
  • Lead a number of research projects to help the company better understand user needs, the competitive landscape, opportunity size, trends and threats.
  • Define and track key product metrics; use metric targets to inform product evolution.
  • Evangelize product and articulate goals to gain buy-in from stakeholders across the company.
  • Work closely with UX to gather user feedback and iterate on or create new product features based on user needs and pain points.

Requirements

  • Preferred experience working with Loyalty Management software; OR previous experience building or designing loyalty programs; OR experience with offer management applications; OR experience with point of sale technology.
  • At least 1-3 years experience in a product management or equivalent role, preferably in building enterprise products, with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development and launch.
  • Ability to gather user requirements and convert them into a winning product vision.
  • Must have superior communication skills with the ability to evangelize SessionM’s products internally and externally.
  • Should have a good sense of humor and strong work ethic.
  • Understands that the only easy day was yesterday.
  • Willingness to travel ~20% of the time.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in a retail / QSR Point of Sale environment.
  • Experience with customer data, CRM, and/or enterprise marketing platforms
  • Experience with usability testing
  • Experience with Agile software development
  • Comfort reading and digesting API documentation
  • Experience exploring and testing APIs via Postman or other tools
  • Favorite Pandora station is “Summer Hits of the 90’s”
