Opportunity

SessionM is a rapidly-growing tech startup whose customer engagement platform empowers the world’s most innovative brands to forge stronger and more profitable customer relationships. We are headquartered in Boston with offices across the country and are funded by top investors including General Atlantic, Salesforce Ventures, and KPCB.

We are looking for a Manager/Director to join its Strategy & Analytics team, which (a) helps leading brands transform their marketing organizations engage the right customer with the right action at the right time and (b) shapes productization of solutions that streamline this type of personalization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams and client engagements
  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and clients with an outcome-oriented focus
  • Comfort working through ambiguity and handling a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to break down and communicate complex ideas
  • High level of ownership, quantitative acumen, and entrepreneurship
  • Outstanding record of professional and academic success (MBA or other graduate degree preferred)
  • Advanced analytics and/or customer loyalty experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Drive measurable impact: Collaborate with marketing teams of leading brands to identify and pursue opportunities for impact; guide project teams through execution and measurement; initiatives can vary from loyalty program design to optimization strategies to predictive analytics
  • Lead clients: Develop and manage senior client relationships, influencing organizational thinking and action while proving out measurable impact
  • Shape product development: Provide guidance on product development by applying client learnings to ensure product-market fit
  • Innovate: Opportunistically identify and guide innovation efforts (innovation is a core value within our team)
  • Manage senior client relationships, influencing client thinking and action to drive quantified impact
  • Lead project teams on a diverse set of strategic (loyalty program design, campaign strategy, customer journey mapping) and analytical (predictive analytics, ROI modeling) projects, overseeing recommended solutions all the way through execution and measurement
  • Provide guidance on product development by applying client learnings to ensure product-market fit
  • Opportunistically identify and guide innovation efforts (innovation is a core value within our team)
