As the Director of Quality Engineering you will have the unique opportunity to join a successful and rapidly growing company in a leadership position. The Director of Quality Engineering will work closely with the SVP of Engineering to build quality from the start of everything we do. The ideal candidate will be a creative, and critical, thinker who can drive execution and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency and effectiveness.  S/he must have leadership capabilities to manage a team while delivering on aggressive deadlines. 

What we’re looking for in you

  • Passion for customers, technology and great products.

  • Natural leader who leads through convincing, not commanding.

  • Empathetic manager who will successfully recruit, retain and lead a team of 12+ Quality Engineers and Analysts.

  • Strong technologist with depth of experience capable to define test automation standards, oversee implementation and promote continuous improvement for long-term scale; Linux and Selenium are essential, Ruby, golang and .NET are big pluses.

  • Enjoys, and is capable, of getting into technical details to understand our high-volume performance platform and drive the highest levels of quality and performance.

  • Confident and effective communicator able to work closely with cross-functional teams and collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, and Project Managers to define and achieve holistic business and technical objectives.

  • Lean practitioner capable or driving iterative build, measure, learn loops while staying true to long-term quality vision.

  • Open-minded, great listener.

  • 7+ years’ experience delivering engineering quality; you’re extremely proud of what you’ve accomplished.

  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with senior and executive management.
